Our centre in China expands production capacity with a move to new premises in the district of Lingang, in Shanghai, to a large modern facility that enables us to support an increasing global customer base. The new modern industrial site has a total surface area of 5,200 m2, more than the 80% of the space is intended for a production workshop.
Present in China since 1998, our brand has become a key player in the region. Specialized in the design and manufacture of processing equipment, our centre in China supplies freeze-drying equipment integrated with automatic loading and unloading systems for the international life sciences market and particularly for the Asia-Pacific region’s pharmaceutical sector. In addition, it is also dedicated to the development of equipment for laboratories, as well as offering a support service in the development & improvement of recipes and test samples prior to the process of production. From our subsidiary in in China we also have the aim of responding to the high potential of the pharma market in the Asia-Pacific region providing local assistance to our customers.
Since its foundation, the company in China has been continually expanding its resources to support equipment projects and after sales services, undertaking the direct management of the complete process of project management of equipment manufactured in China with their own professional staff. For large or complex integrated projects, the company follows a multi-plant management model, in close collaboration with our technology centres around the world.
The Telstar brand is now represented in Asia-Pacific region by three specialized production plants and engineering centres in China, Bangladesh, and India.
